well i can´t say i´m extremely happy but content at least. I wasn´t expecting transfers at all. and i was not prepared for that. we´re crawling in bed last night when presidente obeso called us. I´m off to Libertad in Puerto Montt, in the same zone where i was before. I´m going to be Hermana leader.....i don´t know what president is thinking. a sister leader? is this a joke? so this consists of being in charge of a bunch of other sisters, going on exchanges with them 2 or more times every week and such. I honestly don´t know how i feel about this. i´m grateful for the opportunity to serve in a leadership position and help the other hermanas but i don´t know if i`m qualified for this.... oh and my new companion is hermana davila, she was my hermana leader in puerto montt. she´s a machine. i´m excited to work with her but to be honest she scared me when i was in puerto montt. haha
So Hermana Valdebenito (stefy) is off. she called me 5 minutes ago as she left for the airport. So Lindz, she´s in your hands now. take good care of her, she´s very special. We got permission to go see her be set apart yesterday. so we spent half the day with her. it was a special experience cuz she´s the only member in her family and i have alot of faith that now, for stefy´s example her parents are going to be baptized soon.
Interesting story of the week, we were knocking on doors the other day when suddenly i heard a heart breaking cry. so i went in search of this and found a new born puppy, abandoned under an abandoned house. its freezing cold and it was a death sentence to leave this puppy there. so we used this puppy to get some new contacts, asking if they knew to whom he belongs and everyone said that he´s a street dog. so i thought i was fed up with dogs but i couldn´t very well leave this puppy to die. so we brought him home (yes i know there´s a rule that says we can´t have pets but....) we found a family who wants him but they´re traveling until tuesday. so for the past 2 days we´ve had this puppy in our house. she´s adorable but she need to go, she crys half for half the day.
wow so yesterday we´re sitting in sacrament meeting and as they´re passing the sacrament the hermano bends down and asks if i could do a special musical number. uhhhh what? so i couldn´t very well argue during the sacrament so i said yes. so without any prep time i chose a number and sang for sacrament meeting. can´t say it was my best but hey, at least i did it.
so yup, my life. saying goodbye to everyone´s gonna be the biggest challenge. i already packed this morning (biggest struggle of my life, i don´t understand how i have so much stuff if i keep giving stuff away....?)
